Q. Can the PoE injector "PE1001at" be used with devices that do not require power?
A. The "PE1001at" is designed exclusively for devices that require power according to the IEEE802.3at/802.3af standards. We cannot support its use with devices that do not require power.

Q. Can SFP modules from other manufacturers be used with FXC media converters and switches?
A. We do not recommend this, as it will void the product warranty. Please use our genuine FXC products.

A. We do not recommend this, as it will void the product warranty. Please use them in combination with our FXC products.

Q. What is a "combo port" on a switching hub?
A. A combo port allows you to select and use either an Ethernet RJ45 port or an SFP port. You cannot use both ports with the same port number simultaneously.

Q. How is the power supply wattage determined for a PoE switch?
A. The maximum power supply capacity of a PoE switch is determined by the PD (Powered Device) class classification, which is based on physical signaling. The actual power consumed depends on the connected AP (Access Point).

Q. Is there any issue connecting non-PoE compatible devices to a PoE switch?
A. No, there is no issue. Power will not be supplied to non-PoE compatible devices, and they can be used as standard LAN ports.
