Company History (Timeline)

Since our founding in 2001, FXC Inc. has been dedicated to developing and promoting communication network infrastructure as a network equipment manufacturer, all in support of seamless communication. Below are the key milestones in our company's history.

Jan. 2001 Established "Future Cross Communications Co., Ltd." in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.
Mar. 2001 Launched the first FXC-branded Gigabit Ethernet switch.
Apr. 2003 Relocated headquarters to Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
Dec. 2003 Changed the company name to FXC Inc.
Apr. 2005 Established FXC China Co., Ltd. (a wholly-owned subsidiary) in the People's Republic of China.
Dec. 2005 Acquired the WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) division business from Photonics Net Co., Ltd.
May 2007 Achieved Quality Management (ISO 9001) and Environmental Management (ISO 14001) certifications.
Mar. 2009 Relocated headquarters to Taito-ku, Tokyo.
Mar. 2009 Established the Engineering Center in Itabashi-ku, Tokyo.
Jan. 2011 Celebrated FXC's 10th Anniversary.
Apr. 2013 Opened the Kansai Sales Office.
Sep. 2013 Became the master distributor with exclusive sales rights for KEMP Technologies products in the Japanese market and launched KEMP Technologies Load Balancers.
Jun. 2014 The AE1021 received the "Special Jury Award" in the Mobile & Wireless category at the Interop Tokyo 2014 Best of Show Award.
Jun. 2016 The LEX1881-1F received the "Special Jury Award" in the Gadget category at the Interop Tokyo 2016 Best of Show Award.
Jul. 2017 Opened the Kyushu Sales Office.
Jun. 2019 The LEX3881-2F received the "Special Jury Award" in the Enterprise IT category at the Interop Tokyo 2019 Best of Show Award.
Jan. 2021 Celebrated FXC's 20th Anniversary.
Apr. 2021 The LightEdge400T won the "Grand Prix" (Top Prize) in the Optical Transmission Device category at the Interop Tokyo 2021 Best of Show Award.
Jan. 2022 Participated in the "Regional Revitalization Telework Promotion Action Declaration," promoted by the Cabinet Office and Cabinet Secretariat.
Jan. 2023 Launched the FXC Online Store.
Oct. 2023 Began offering FXC Professional Services.
