FXC Inc. Introduction example : JR East Cross Station Co.,Ltd.

JR East Cross Station Co., Ltd. has adopted our media converter "LEX1851-1F" 
and integrated chassis "LEX1012-15".


As part of the JR East Group, we operate a variety of food and beverage 
establishments, primarily including "NewDays" convenience stores located within 
train stations, quick-service restaurants like "Irorian Kiraku" offering soba, 
cafes, ramen, and curry, as well as full-service restaurants serving Japanese 
and Western cuisine, and even employee cafeterias. To cater to the diverse 
needs of train station users, we also develop directly connected commercial 
facilities such as "ecute" and "GRANSTA." While considering the location, 
culture, and local characteristics of each station, we aim to further enhance 
the appeal of station spaces, strengthen collaboration with business partners, 
and actively engage in coexistence and cooperation with local communities. 
Furthermore, we also manage and operate vending machines, expressing gratitude 
for the natural blessings that provide water, and continuously strive to 
innovate the beverage business from the customer's perspective.

Background and Selection Rationale

"With the expansion of our headquarters' office space and the consolidation of multiple locations, establishing a robust LAN environment became a critical priority.  A key challenge was how to connect the expanded floor, which was over 100 meters away from the server room on another floor.  Since wired LAN communication over distances exceeding 100 meters wouldn't guarantee reliability, we ultimately decided to install fiber optic cables." Based on the above, ASE-Net Co., Ltd. selected FXC's LightEdge Xchange®1000 series.

The two key selection criteria were:

Ability to meet the customer's desired delivery schedule.
Space-saving 1U size of the rack-mount chassis for installation.

Post-Implementation Results and Future Outlook

Mr. Yamazaki expressed his satisfaction, stating, "It's operating smoothly and stably, just as intended with the fiber optic connection over 100 meters."
